This system produces an impressive 261 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0 to 60 time of 7.6 seconds. Like other Sorento models, power is distributed through a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Inside the Sorento Plug-In Hybrid is an airy, spacious cabin with seating for up to six people. Both the first and second rows provide around 41 inches of legroom, and even those seated in the third row won’t feel cramped with nearly 30 inches of legroom. When not in use, the third row can be folded down for up to 40 cubic feet of cargo space, which is further expandable to 75.5 cubic feet with the second row down.

Along with providing wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and Bluetooth hands-free technology, the Sorento Plug-In Hybrid’s 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen system includes support for connected navigation.
