Findlay Automotive Group Overview
The Findlay Automotive Group was founded in 1961 when Pete Findlay opened Findlay Oldsmobile in Las Vegas. Pete Findlay retired in the 1980's and the organization is now led by his son, Cliff Findlay, and the day to day operations are managed by Tyler Corder, the Chief Financial Officer.
In 1990 Findlay was awarded the Saturn franchise for Las Vegas and the growth of the organization began. In 1992 and 1993 two dealerships were acquired in Arizona. In 1995 and 1996 two additional Saturn facilities were opened. Additional, dealerships were added over the ensuing years. The most recent additions are Findlay Fiat in Henderson, NV, Findlay Nissan in Post Falls, ID and Audi Reno/Tahoe and Land Rover in Reno, NV. Currently the Findlay Automotive Group includes a total of twenty eight dealerships operating in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Oregon and Idaho.
In 2016 the organization retailed more than 3,000 vehicles. Findlay Automotive Group employs approximately 1,400 people and is one of the largest privately held companies in Nevada.
